Butterbeer in a glass with a pitcher in the background.

Movie theme nights are a thing in our family, and our kids are getting to the age that we are beginning to introduce them to the wizarding world of Harry Potter. And for every Harry Potter theme night, butterbeer is a must-have!

WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE THIS RECIPE

  • Whipped Cream: Our homemade whipped cream comes together in less than five minutes using heavy cream and powdered sugar. We sweeten ours with a drop of caramel extract. You could use store-bought whipped cream, but I don’t know why you would want to.
  • Cream Soda: Any brand will do, but we love Boylan’s creme soda! They also have a diet creme soda if that’s your thing.
  • Extract: Toffee and butter extract flavor the drink, and caramel extract lends added sweetness to the homemade whipped cream.
