Use horseradish cream sauce to finish meals like ribeye steak, roast, and grilled chicken drumsticks. Serve the sauce alongside meat, spread it onto bread, or drizzle it over vegetables like roasted potatoes or asparagus.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- Heavy Cream: Whipped heavy cream is the base for this horseradish cream sauce recipe. It contributes to the light, fluffy texture.
- Sour Cream: Use tangy sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt to thicken the sauce.
- Horseradish: Flavor the creamy sauce with store-bought prepared horseradish. Use as much or as little as you want, depending on how strong you want the flavor to be.
- Lemon Juice: Add a splash of fresh lemon juice to balance the creaminess of the sauce. You can use bottled lemon juice, but it won’t have the same fresh flavor.
- Spices: Enhance the taste of the sauce with salt and black pepper.
