How to Cook Spaghetti Squash: 2 Ways

Learn how to cook spaghetti squash in the oven or microwave for a tasty low-carb side; eat spaghetti squash as is or pair it with a protein to create a full meal.

METHOD #1: Oven- Baked

1. Preheat oven to 400.° Drizzle both sides with olive oil & season with salt & pepper. 2. Turn them face down on the baking sheet & bake for 40 minutes.

METHOD # 2: Microwave

JAMIL GHAR

1. Drizzle with olive oil & salt & pepper. Add water to a glass dish, about 1-inch high. Place the spaghetti squash face down.  2. Microwave for 10 minutes and check for doneness. .

Shred the Spaghetti Squash

1. Remove the cooked spaghetti squash & allow it to cool.  2. Then, use a fork fluff to separate the strands & add them to a mixing bowl.
