Pan Seared Shrimp with Peanut and Lime

Enjoy our pan seared shrimp tossed with peanuts, coriander, black pepper, warm spices, & lime. Serve with noodles or as a rice bowl for a quick appetizer, lunch, or dinner.

Peel & devein the shrimp. Then, toss  with salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.

Grind peppercorns & coriander seeds. Then, stir in paprika, cayenne, minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of sugar, red pepper flakes, & salt.

Pat dry the shrimp & add 1 tablespoon of oil & the remaining sugar; toss to coat.

Add oil to a skillet, then warm the butter. Add the shrimp in a single layer & cook over medium- high heat  for about 1-2 minutes.

Use tongs to flip each shrimp & cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.

JAMIL GHAR

Add one teaspoon of oil, followed by the reserved spice mixture & peanuts. Return the shrimp to the skillet along with the cilantro and lime juice. Toss to combine.
