Turkey with Tandoori Masala

Olive Oil Yogurt Garlic Ginger Liquid Smoke Garlic Powder Turmeric Cayenne Pepper Paprika Garam Masala Kashmiri Chili Powder Lemon Juice  Red Onion Turkey

Combine the ingredients for the tandoori masala apart from the lemon & onion in a food processor. Blend until smooth.

Place the turkey onto a baking sheet & rub the masala evenly over the bird & under the skin.

Preheat the oven to 450° F (232°F) for one hour. Meanwhile, add flour, sliced onion, & lemon wedges to an oven bag, followed by the turkey.

Secure the bag according to the package & cut several slits in the bag.

Set the bagged turkey onto the baking sheet. Reduce the oven temperature & roast for about 3-4 hours.

JAMIL GHAR

Remove the turkey & let it rest for 15-20 minutes. Carve the turkey & garnish with cilantro, red onion, & lemon wedges.
