Ingredients
  
  • 3 cans sliced peaches, drain 2 cans and leave the other as is
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 box yellow cake mix, 16-ounce
  • 1 stick butter, cut into tabs
Instructions
 
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (176° C). Then, combine canned peaches, lemon juice, brown sugar, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl; pour it into a prepared baking dish.
  • Top the peach mixture with the contents of the yellow cake mix.
  • Cut the stick of butter into tabs and cover the cake mix; bake for 30-45 minutes.
  • Let the cobbler cool for at least 20 minutes, then serve it with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream or homemade whipped cream, and enjoy!
Notes
Expert Tips: 
• If using fresh peaches, select yellow peaches and not white ones. The outside of the peach should feel soft but firm. If you end up with overly ripe peaches, adjust the sugar in the recipe accordingly and consider using less.
