Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3-4 cups fresh spinach, loosely packed
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened, cubed
  • ½ cup grated parmesan, divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 ounces crab meat, chopped or shredded
Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ (176℃). Then, warm butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the spinach and cook until it begins to wilt, for 1-2 minutes.
  • Transfer the spinach to a large bowl and stir in the artichoke hearts, cream cheese, ¼ cup parmesan, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and crab meat.
  • Prepare a baking dish and spoon the mixture into the baking dish. Bake uncovered for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove the dish from the oven and stir to break up the cream cheese and combine the ingredients. Then top it with parmesan cheese and bake for 3-5 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble and turn golden brown.
Notes
Serving Size: ½ cup
Expert Tips:
  • If you use fresh lump crab meat, pick through the meat to remove any shells and cartilage.
  • Bake the dip until heated through and slightly browned on top.
  • Make ahead by preparing and refrigerating the dup. Just allow it to come to room temperature before baking it again to serve.
