Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Cauliflower: Break down a head of cauliflower into bite-sized pieces for this recipe. You can also purchase a bag of cauliflower florets or two bags of riced cauliflower to make it easier.
  • Olive Oil: Coat the cauliflower florets with avocado oil to help them become crispy. 
  • Spices: Turmeric powder gives the cauliflower recipe its vibrant yellow color, and the kosher salt, coarse ground pepper, and mustard powder contribute to the overall flavor.

How to Make Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C), then line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

Combine the cauliflower florets in a large bowl with olive oil, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and mustard powder.

Step 2: Arrange the cauliflower onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.

Step 3: Roast the cauliflower for 40-45 minutes, moving them around halfway through.

What To Do With Leftovers

  • Refrigerate: Store the leftover cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for four days.
  • Freeze: Let the cauliflower cool, and transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag. Turmeric roasted cauliflower freezes for 2-4 months.
  • Reheat: You can reheat turmeric cauliflower in the microwave, but if you want them crispy, warm them in the oven at 350°F (176°C) for 5-10 minutes.
