  • Cauliflower: Break down a head of cauliflower into bite-sized pieces for this recipe. You can also purchase a bag of cauliflower florets or two bags of riced cauliflower to make it easier.
  • Olive Oil: Coat the cauliflower florets with avocado oil to help them become crispy. 
  • Spices: Turmeric powder gives the cauliflower recipe its vibrant yellow color, and the kosher salt, coarse ground pepper, and mustard powder contribute to the overall flavor.

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C), then line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Add the cauliflower florets to a large bowl and toss them with olive oil, turmeric, salt, black pepper, and mustard powder.

Step 3: Pour the cauliflower onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer and roast them for 40-45 minutes, shaking them halfway through.

What to do With the Leftovers

  • Refrigerate – Store the leftover cauliflower in an airtight container in the refrigerator for four days.
  • Freeze  Let the cauliflower cool, then transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag. Turmeric roasted cauliflower freezes for 2-4 months.
  • Reheat – You can reheat turmeric cauliflower in the microwave, but if you want them crispy, warm them in the oven at 350°F (176°C) for 5-10 minutes.
